Miracle Full Court 3pt Shot to Win the Game

Well, you probably have already heard or seen footage of the game winning basket made by Jordan Snipes, a basketball player for Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. This basket not only won the game for his team, but it sent them into the playoffs over a team they hadn't beat in 10 years.
According to an interview with Jordan Snipes, the actual plan wasn't to heave the ball. The score was tied with a few seconds left and the other team on the free throw line. They were assuming that the free throw would go in and that they'd be down 90-89, but the shot misses. They plan they had wasn't taking into consideration what they'd do if they missed so he got a little frazzled and the only thing he could think to do with the ball was to grab it and hurl it full court down to the basket.
