Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill Movie Night?
Posted: Apr 7 2005, 01:50 PM
I just noticed that The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill is playing at Camera 7 at the Prunyard shopping center in Campbell. Would anyone be interested in getting together for this if I organized a movie event?

I've heard raves about this documentary, but thought I'd have to drive so San Francisco to see it. I was thinking next week: any day but Thursday (I have a yoga class). Anyone Interested?

Hey Wendy,
Wild Parrots is a really different sort of movie. You'll love it if you like birds or quirky personal interest stories. Mary and I went to see it shortly after it hit at Camera 7. I'm surprised it's still there. It's been there for a while. We'd go with you, but we already saw it!
I put up a reivew of it in the opinions board too:

Here's also something funny that Mary and I noticed about wild parrots in our own backyard:

They're everywhere!

That's a great picture! I had no idea wild parrots were down here as well.
Now that next weeks movie times are up, I'm going to set a solid time for the movie night: Wednesday, April 13th, 7:35 pm.
I'll arrive around 7:00 and will wait in the Coffee Society until 7:25 for anyone else to join me. I hope they have tables. (I'm 6 ft tall, pale, and have long dark brown hair, usually in a ponytail).
I hope everyone can come!

Ooh, forget about waiting in the Coffee Society. That's too complicated.
The theatre has its own cafe with food, tables and drinks in the front lobby. That's where I will be waiting. At an outdoor table if the weather is warm, inside if there is even a slight breeze.

Hey Wendy-Bird, why don't you post this to our events calendar? If you need help, send me a personal message or an e-mail and I can walk you through it. That way, everybody will see it and it will get listed on our events calendar when the SW e-mail update gets sent out to the list on Tuesday.
