Individual group leaders are responsible for setting their own policies as to specific things that are and aren't allowed in their groups (assuming compliance with Social Wave's member policies first). Social Wave users may violate rules of a group and be kicked out of the group but they can always try to join the group again. If the group is a public group the user will again become a member of the group he/she got kicked out of. This forces the group leader to either make his/her group private or have to repeatly boot a person out who may not be willing to go away.

There will be a lock to prevent banned users from joining a group after he/she has been banned. The ban will only affect the banned user in the groups that he/she is banned from.
