Oakland A's or SF Giants, Who Has a Postseason Chance?
Posted on Jun 25 2005, 11:09 AM
On the occasion that the Bay Area's two baseball teams are playing each other for local bragging rights, I guess it's a good time to wonder which team has the best chance of making a season of it this year. Both teams have been disappointments this year, but which one can turn things around?

Well, after this weekend's interleague series, we certainly know which direction the two teams are heading at the current moment. The question is if their current streaks are going to be lasting trends this year for either club. The Giants play in a toothless division so they can still have a post season chance if they shape up now. The A's would have to go on one of those second half season hot streaks they used to be known for to make it to the playoffs.
SF doesn't have any pitching though and the A's pitchers seem to be finding their game finally so I think the A's have the better chance.
