Drop-in Support Group for Postpartum Mothers

The Miri Center, located at 1165 Lincoln Ave, Suite 220, announces a support group for postpartum mothers facilitated by Jessica Sorci. This drop-in support group, meeting every other Monday, 5:30pm-7pm, will focus on the challenges and mood changes that you may be feeling as a new mother.

Do you sometimes feel: conflicting feelings about your baby; anxiety, panic, sadness, guilt, or worry that won't go away; or that you may not be cut out for this job? This support group welcomes mothers who find the challenges of motherhood to be different than expected and those with a diagnosis of prenatal or postpartum anxiety or depression. The group is designed to nurture you and create supportive connections between mothers.
