Andy's BBQ is BACK! (Well, Almost - End of July)

Just when you thought it was safe to settle for Armadillo Willy's again, ANDY'S BBQ is COMING BACK! Yes, and I do indeed mean the same Andy's that was located in Campbell since 1965 and had to leave town when their building next to Campbell Park was demolished for the Marriot's that's getting built now.
I got an email from the owner who confirmed that he's finally found a new home for Andy's BBQ. It'll be in Santa Clara on 2367 El Camino Real in the former location of Mr. Steer. It should be opening by the end of July.
When it re-opens, we want to organize a dinner social there. Mmm... I'm hungry just thinking about it.

I have missed Andy's as well. My favorite was the beef brisket sandwich -- so I will be sure to attend.

BTW, the latest word on Andy's is that they're now due back in mid-August. They ran into some building compliance issues that they had to fix before they could reopen what used to be Mr. Steer.
As soon as we hear that they've opened, we're setting a dinner there.

Please count me in on the next dinner social at Andy's. I am so glad they finally found a home.
