Weird News: Larry Bird Fan Requests LONGER Prison Sentence

Well, now you've seen it all. A convicted man just requested that he be put away for three years longer than his actual sentence because that would push his sentence up to 33 years, the same number as Larry Bird's jersey during his playing days for the Boston Celtics.
"He said if he was going to go down, he was going to go down in Larry Bird's jersey," Oklahoma County District Judge Ray Elliott said Wednesday. "We accommodated his request and he was just as happy as he could be.
