Review: Munich(Movies)
Posted: Feb 21 2006, 10:03 AM
Reviewed: Munich
Starring: Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, · Rating: R · Year: 2005 ·
Description: Set in the aftermath of the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, the story follows a secret Israeli squad assigned to track down and kill the 11 Palestinians suspected to have planned the Munich attack--and the personal toll this mission of revenge takes on the team and the man who led it.
Review Title: Great movie · Overall Score: 8
(Overall Rating: 8, Casting / Acting: 8, Story: 8, )
My Opinion:
There has been a big buzz about the story and the timing of this movie. I really liked the story and the characters. I was not really familiar with the story and how everything played out during the olympics. You really felt for the main character as he was struggling to do the right thing and have his family at the same time. After he lost another team member, he stopped and went back home to his wife. I think at this point he did not want to do his job anymore even though he had only killed 7 of the 11 people he was supposed to hunt down.
I would definitely recommend this movie. I give it a B+.
