Social Wave 1.5 Now Coming After July 4th

This Social Wave 1.5 release has been pushed back and pushed back time after time this year due to me having a very very busy work life this year, but it looks like I finally have everything in line to finish this release that I started late last year. Social Wave v1.5 will be here shortly after July 4th. I'll post an exact date as we get closer so people can make alternate arrangements to exchange messages as there's a chance the system could be down for a few hours.

Here's the revised list of features for Social Wave 1.5:

General Changes:
  • Complete redesign of entire site
  • Simplified URLs to access areas of site
  • Filter displayed links shown in Active Discussions sidebar
  • Collapsable inline help boxes to explain features
  • Option to publish content to GoogleBase
  • Redesigned Help and Support areas
  • Add keyword tags to topics, profiles, events to link related items
  • Invite a friend
  • New Social Wave Search Engine
Events:
  • Create photo albums for events / show multiple images in an event listing
  • Upload images directly to event postings
  • Create private events (viewable by invite only)
  • Real time Venue lookup for Event Postings
  • Save events in Draft status
  • Cancel event feature
  • Group related events under one heading (multiple events with an event)
  • Automatic reminder emails to event guests
  • Post occasions (holidays, special days, etc)
Opinions:
  • Redesigned look and navigation
  • Request a review of a shop, service, or thing
  • Simplified review ratings
  • Improved integration between opinion board and message boards
Groups:
  • Create RSS feeds for group content
  • Improved moderator controls
  • Export Events & News pages to HTML
  • Option to hide group posts from main index
Gallery:

Development continues to move along nicely. Here's another preview of the Social Wave 1.5 release. This is a sneak peek at the "My Account" areas. It's been completely reorganized to be easier to navigate with lots of visual buttons.

It also looks a hell of a lot nicer. smile.gif

And another preview shot... Social Wave Groups gets a makeover too. That really cluttered ugly grey menu for the group has been replaced by something easier on the eyes and more noticeable.
