The new release of Social Wave will be installed on Monday morning. The site will be unavailable from 1am to 8am on July 17th while I get the new site up and configured.

This release has been delayed many times and the installation is getting one last push back by a few days to Monday, but it'll be well worth the wait. If you want some more preview shots of what's coming, there's some images attached to this thread below.

The Opinion Board gets a new name and a simplified rating system and process to make it easier to submit reviews.

The "Search" feature will actually work for the first time in over a year and this time it works right! Search in profiles, events, reviews, merchant profiles, galleries, and the forums. You can also limit your search just to one area to fine tune the results.

Editing and managing merchant profiles just got a lot easier. On screen pop-up edit prompts allow you to see exactly what you're doing while you edit your profile. Also, a new and improved HTML editor is integrated into the new Merchant Profile interface. The new editor is an open source Javascript editor called TinyMCE by Moxiecode.

Merchants can create Social Wave coupons easily with the new Coupon Generator that creates .jpg based graphic coupons with their choice of offers, messages, and graphic printed on top of a Social Wave watermarked coupon background for authenticity.

This looks great. Looks like quite a bit of development went into it.
I really like the user interface and the functionality.

Man mosh, I think you might be the only person I know who might truly understand the challenges of this and how much development went into this! Yup, it has been a lot of work, but now that I'm almost there, all those hours of sleep I've lost are worth it.

Hey Sheldon -- your on a roll with the Social Wave upgrade.

Looks like -- with the way it is going -- you will beat the roll out of Windows 'Longhorn / Vista'!

If that is the case I guess I lost my bet with Mary (just kidding:))
