Review: Comcast High Speed Internet(Phone/Data)

Reviewed: Comcast High Speed Internet

Description: Cable Internet service by Comcast

Review Title: I've seen up to 6 mbit/sec
My Rating: Thumbs Up!

My Opinion: Uploading is limited to around 380 mbits/sec. Connection is very solid. Once in a while I have to reset the cable modem.

Previously I had Yahoo DSL. Due to my location the service was pretty bad. It also doesn't like Halogen lamps when they are dimmed (very strange). Yahoo kept messing up my service.

I think comcast is way too expensive ($60/month). I want to try att. Anyone tried att yet? They have a special, three months for free when you switch and take their phone/dsl package which is about the same as comcast.

Comcast was good while I had it. It is very expensive. I am back to dial up (snail's pace).

FYI they are bundling cable, one premium channels (HBO for ex.) and internet for $89 if you ask for it. Also I asked and got phone service for $19.99/mo. So for the regular price of cable and internet, I get phone and hbo for free for 12 months (Abour $600 savings for the year).

Also they are offering additional digital boxes with remotes (above your primary free one) at no charge for twelve months. Savings of $6/outlet/month. They are offering to upgrade to dvr tuning cable boxes for $1/mo (a savings of $11/mo for each dvr). The dvr holds 60 hours of shows and works right from the guide on you cable television.l mostly like the dvr for live television, being able to rewind or pause live tv is so cool. Wimbledon has never been better. I am saving another $400 for three dvrs and my free cable box over the year.

I hate promoting them but don't want people to miss the specials. Please call first and see if still applicable. 1 800 945 2288
