Review Title: Not Your Fast Food Falafel. Try a Finer Falafel or Gyro.
My Rating: Thumbs Up!
My Opinion: There are not enough places to go for a quality Falafel or other like sandwiches from the Middle East / Mediterranean region of the world. It's even harder if you're looking for something that's not a "Fast Food" falafel or gyro.... so if you're starving for a really high quality one, you gotta go try Casablanca's. The ingredients are very fresh, flavorful, and light in the palate which is what separates them from other Middle Eastern deli type of spots for me.
The only complaint I can think of about their sandwiches is that I'm not a fan of the tangy marinated red cabbage and lettuce that they add to their sandwiches, but apparently other people like the extra flavor that they add. Without the extra tang, it's just about perfect for my tastes. They also serve other Mediterranean, Greek, and Persian foods. I've sampled a bit of this and that and all was fresh and nicely prepared.

Review Title: My favorite lunch stop!
My Rating: Thumbs Up!
My Opinion: I went to Casablanca's at least once a week all summer, which is when I am available to actually go out to eat for lunch. I am addicted to the dolma plate. The dolmas are fantastic, and Fawaz always makes my plate just the way I like it: no tomatoes, plenty of cabbage and red onion. When my son is with me, Fawaz prepares a nice plate of rice or chicken and rice, which my son enjoys along with the bread I get with my dolma plate. This is a gem along Lincoln Avenue that many people may walk by and not even try. They don't know what they're missing! The kufta kebab sandwich is also very good, and my Mom, who had a gyro when my folks were in town, said that was excellent as well.

Review Title: favorite place
My Rating: Thumbs Up!
My Opinion: I eat here at least twice a week. The ingredients are always so bright and fresh and the flavors never dissapoint. Fawaz always greets me like an old friend. I travel a lot for work and one of the first places I go for dinner is here...and it feels like I'm home.
