Did you go to that home opener Becca?

You seem to always know the latest preseason dates and events. Any special preseason public events coming up?

I've never gone to a preseason game before, how do you get into one of them and what do they charge? It'd be fun to go spy some of the prospects.

Sheldon,

I did not go to the first preseason game. I had a chance to but I got out of jury duty late to tell my friend if I could go.

I do have tickets for the 30th, which is the last preseason game before the real season starts. It is fun to watch these games cuz then you get to watch the prospects.

They need to work on their power plays and their shooting. There was a lot of sloppy hockey going on Saturday night. I did not stay for the whole game.

Regular season starts this Thursday, which also happens to be opening night at the tank. Hopefully they can win their first game.

Was that the game against Anaheim or the Flames?

At least the goaltending is looking to be for real. It might be just preseason, but going almost two games without a goal is a good sign for Toskala and Nabokov seemed to be doing pretty good in the games he was in too.

I can't wait to have hockey back... as a major distraction to getting the stuff I need to get done, done. wink.gif
