North Korea is all over the news today. I'm sure everyone knows why. It made me curious about what the country looks like. All I know about it are bleak portraits painted by essays of people who have visited there. I didn't think there were that many photos out there of North Korea, but then I ran into this site of this Russian photographer. He's got pages and pages of pics of North Korea and it didn't look anything like I thought it might. Granted, I'm sure he only was allowed to shoot the picturesque stuff, but it was still shocking to see photos and that reminded me of Disney World. It's all so stunningly perfect... too perfect.

The site is mostly in Russian, so I don't know much about the photographer or the site. All that stuff is in Russian, but thankfully, the North Korea album is translated into English.
