Review Title: Excellent sandwiches
My Rating: Thumbs Up!
My Opinion: If you are looking for great vietnamese sandwiches this is an execellent place. The prices are unbelievable low, the bread seems to always be fresh, the drinks are good, and the various other things you can get seem to be tasty as well.

Review Title: Incredible Value
My Rating: Thumbs Up!
My Opinion:
I love Lee's Sandwiches. I haven't been there in awhile because the location is near my work, and when I do go out to eat, we always choose a more formal dining experience. The food is tasty, the bread is fresh (some people go in just to buy bread), and the prices are right. At $2-3 per sandwich, you can't go wrong. I've even eaten the combo with Asian meats that I can't even identify and it's good (and I'm not usually a fan of weird Asian foods, even though I'm Asian.) If you're looking for an alternative to Togo's, I would give this place a try. They also have spring rolls and other Asian appetizers.

Lee's is very good and the story behind the company is really fascinating. The prices vary from location as does quality. I have had the ones on El Camino and although they were good, they were more expensive and not as fresh/tasty as the other locations. Freshest, lowest price is Story Road, one block west of Mc Laughlin. The best anything vietnamese is over there (TK soup, King Egg Roll, to name a few). The components melt in your mouth. I was surprised to find mint and jalepenos in my sandwich. They make over three million loafs of bread a year (as of 2003).
I was blown away to find out there are over 19 stores in over four states. And here is the biggest shock, they are the largest catering truck operators in the US (probably the world). Only been in business 25 years. Amazing!

I've only been to the Sunnyvale location on El Camino and I don't doubt that the prices and quality vary. I suspect this one is most expensive since it's in Silicon Valley. The best authentic and cheap Asian restaurants are in East SJ because that's where most of the store operators live. That's why it's nearly impossible to find cheap Asian fare on the Peninsula and in other parts of the valley. Compared to the price of other food in the area, I still think Lee's is a good deal. If you go to a nicer place, you're looking at $7 or more an entree.

Review Title: THis is the smallest and most expensive lees
My Rating: It's OK
My Opinion:
I love lee's sandwiches but this storefront charges more and has less selection than all the other lees. Try the Story Road/ Lucretia Lee's. Big selection of spring rolls, side items and I swear more meat selections also. All for under two dollars a piece.
