I have a dilemma at home, my husband is going on a business trip and will be gone for two months. I currently work in San Francisco and have not time to go home to walk my dog. I have looked into doggie daycare and seems they charge a lot for the day. I have not tried the walker idea yet because I am not sure how I feel about letting a stranger have keys to my home to come and walk my dog.

I was wondering if anyone here has done either the walker or the daycare and would like to share their thoughts or ideas.

Petsmart is $22 a day for doggie daycare. They require a pet interview before hand.
Run’em Ragged in Sunnyvale charges the following: http://www.runemragged.com/
Evaluation is $10
Single day of daycare is $30
Single dog 5-pak of daycare is $140
Single dog 10-pak of daycare is $270
Single dog 20-pak of daycare is $500

these people come to your house:

do you have a dog door. You can give someone a gate key and they can walk your dog. You make arrangements for leash and timing etc... Your house would always be secure.

Where are you located? I know a few people.
