San Jose Sharks Television Color Commentator Marty McSorley will not return to the broadcast team for the 2007-08 season. McSorely was on a one-year contract with the club.

Any news on who'll be taking McSorely's place? I guess the question would be more aptly stated as "Is Drew back in?"

Sucks to lose a home grown player like Toskala, but both he and Nabby are home grown players and I agree with the sports writers that Toskala may have ended up being more expensive in the long run. Nabby's signed for another few years. Toskala probably would have commanded at least the same salary as Nabby plus inflation against the raised salary cap.

Nice and we move Bell too. Does this mean that we'll have room to keep Mark Smith?

9-Time All-Star Roenick Joins Sharks

WTF! When I read this headline, I was hoping that it would say "... to a broadcasting contract."

Maybe they signed him to show everyone else what a mean streak is?

Hopefully he'll be a much better player on a team with some real talent instead of the teams in Phoenix and LA.

went to the game last night and the Sharks did an awesome job at home. They need the win at home. :-) It was all action and a lot of hits...Vancouver is a good team as well so it was nice to see the Sharks win...they play Toronto tomorrow...hope they keep it up...

Yes, FINALY they start playing well at home. They finally look like the same team at home as the one that plays on the road. Being able to make more than one pass finally seems to be something that isn't too much to ask for.

I guess the rumors have it that CuJo may land in SJ to backup Nabby.

The Toronto game will be very interesting. Toskala will want to put on a good show for sure and Toronto will be rearin to go after getting embarassed two nights in a row.

BTW, all, we still have two more tickets at $18 for the Dallas Stars game on Jan 17th. We've got 23 people going so far and I have two tickets left.
