Many neighborhood association members attended the community meetings for the East Campbell Ave master plan. It is very important for the public - the residents and businesses - to be a part of the planning. There are better and worse ways to do things. There are things that fit or don't fit with the community and history of Campbell.
Once these guidelines are in place and the area is redeveloped, buildings will be there for a long time. It's important for people also to come to meetings from the beginning of the process and keep informed and attending. Sometimes you hear something at a meeting and it takes a few weeks of digesting the ideas to really be able to respond substantively at the next meeting.
Once it's done, it's done for a long time. Now is the time to be involved in the process!!
