If you ate or drank at the Willow Glen Jamba Juice between August 1-16, there is a Hepatitis A health warning. A female employee contracted the disease and is recovering at home.

Symptoms include diarrhea, loss of appetite, jaundice, fatigue, fever and nausea and can show up 15 days to 50 days after exposure. According to the article, "Jamba Juice has offered to pay the co-pay charge of any customer of the Lincoln Avenue Jamba Juice found to have Hepatitis A, health officials said." Read the full article here.

Wow, I didn't realize this was in our neck of the woods. Scary.

Yeah, I just visited a friend who lives within walking distance of this Jamba and he didn't even know about it. Luckily, he's not a regular patron, although he thought about going there recently.

There's probably no danger in going there now. Hep A can happen anywhere and I'm sure that place has gotten a big time clean down.

I got a vaccination for Hep A a couple of years ago. I think it lasts for 20 years so I'm protected.
