Fun run with elite runners at Urban Sports (public event)

This Saturday you will have the opportunity to meet the elite racers who will be running in the San Jose Rock N Roll Half Marathon.  The final list of these runners will be announced at a press conference on Friday.

What:  Fun run for everyone!  Distance will be around 2.5 miles.  You can run, walk, jog or just hang out!

When: Saturday October 13th, 2007 at 8:30am to 10am..

Why:  Elite racing's belief that running is everyone's sport.  This run is dedicated to the memory of Mike Long who worked with elite athletes all over the world.  http://www.eliteracing.com/long_tribute.html  Take a moment to read how Mike Long and Elite racing helped make the world a better place through running.

Willow Glen is fortunate to have Cross Country and Track coaches that like Mike Long work with our local runners and are changing the world one runner at a time.  They know that each of these young men and women will have an impact on many people as they continue to run, learn and teach others.

This Saturday is an opportunity to meet some of the best runners in the world and actually run a few miles with them.  See you at 8:30am...  Bring your running shoes and your camera!
