Calling All Web Geeks, Designers, Programmers, Etc
Posted: Nov 7 2007, 03:39 PM
I know you're out there. I know there have got to be plenty of Web designers, Flash hotshots, Web video wizards, programmers, and just 2.0 frame of mind people interested in anything related to Web technology.
Well, I'd like to gather some of you together into the Web Geeks & Designers group. It was added a while back, but I haven't had time to work on building it up.
I intend for this to be a multi-disciplinary group of people who are knowledgeable about different technologies needed in today's websites. This isn't supposed to be a super-guru forum of any one thing. There are plenty of those all over the Web. I want this to be a forum for people like me who do lots of different "Web stuff" and sometimes needs to find a buddy who's really hot at something I'm not at.
Anyway, if you're a Web geek of any kind, won't you join here:

Ahhh thanks for starting this group! I'll start checking in more often now that it's official!
I am a web designer and developer who dabbles in graphics and such.

Haha, that reminds me... gotta fix that spellcheck.
I think it broke in my last upgrade and since I never use it myself, I forget about it!
Hey Stacie, if you know of other web geeks, loop 'em in. Just point them to the group page and tell them to join and register. I'm hoping to get enough people together to start getting some meetings together by the beginning of next year.
I'll be happy to do some demos or short training sessions on how my stuff works just to get it going and maybe other people can put in a session of their own after a while.
