All Starbucks to Close for 3 Hours!
Posted: Feb 26 2008, 09:23 AM
All you Starbucks junkies are gonna have to try one of the other chains or a local market alternative if you're jonesing for a caffeine fix this evening from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. ALL Starbucks will be closed for a special employee training.
I can understand the idea of being organized and efficient, but is it really necessary to close ALL the stores for a training? In the city of Seattle where there's a coffee shop of one kind or another every single block, they'll need to post special de-caffe counselors to assist desperate coffee drinkers the extra block or two they'll have to travel to find a Tully's or Seattle's Best. Oh wait.... Seattle's Best was bought by Starbucks. Maybe they should just turn the electricity off for the evening.
