We play year round on Sundays, barring rain. Always enough for one net, but extra nets are available should the turnout and skill level allow us to expand.
Open Play volleyball for experienced players. Multiple nets and fun people. Please no beginners at this time. We regularly have ten or more players. Must be able to pass the ball consistently. Most players are under 5'9". All are very good sports (a requirement).
If you are a beginner, I am starting a beginner distribution list. You may email me your address and I will keep you posted on appropriate events. You can be new/never played. When we have enough response, We will host lessons, classes, and beginner leagues if you are interested.
Remember to RSVP. We need minimum six to Rsvp by friday or I will cancel on Saturday. We are planning for another great turnout. See you next week.

Event Discussion Thread
We would appreciate early commitments to Raul's BDAY weekend. We are having a celebration, Taco potluck on Saturday, 3/29. Raul is looking for a head count so he can plan for the meal.
Please clear your calendar and join the Raul family (whole family) for a special volleyball/ taco event or TACOS AND BLOCKO's ( we always roof Raul since he is so short, old, feeble, right? ).
I sure love that he is older than me. From March to October, I can call him OLD MAN. At 48, don't we just take him out put him down....

I'm really beginning to miss VB, but most probably I will miss another Sunday. Andrea is getting only Sunday off this week. I will update my RSVP if something changes.
We are a go! Can't wait. Doesn't it suck that you want to play every sunday but you don't want another week to pass? Can't we just have sundays? You guys are the best, even when the volleyball sucks. Sometimes I get the best of all worlds: great play, great weather and great company.
FYI Russ and Rita made an appearance last week. What a treat. Russell was so rusty, The girls could block him...... Remember when he had the straight down, devastating, life shortening, spike in the game? Now he eats chips/salsa with fervor and plays volleyball like a lamb..... Lets see if that gets him out more than once every six months.....

Eric and I tried to fatten up Raul at lunch today. It didn't work, we ate all the food and Raul had some fish because it was lent. Damn short mexican. He still had room to have dinner while Eric and I won't be eating for a few days. Oh well we tried. I think he is losing weight. We will have to resort to booze again. We can't have a fast, healthy Mexican on the loose.
