Movie outings: Spiderman 1 AND 2 !!

Tobey Maguire fans unite!! I'm really psyched-up about the release of Spiderman 2, and I'd be happy to share my enthusiasm with the group.
This Thursday evening, Sheldon and I will be hosting a showing of the DVD of Spiderman 1 at his house (check out the invite under "upcoming events").
THEN, I'd like to get a group together to go see Spiderman 2. I think our movie passes (which can bring us down to the bargain-basement ticket price of $5 per person), will be good on July 11. However, one must also keep in mind that, at that point, the passes will also be good for Michael Moore's Far. 9/11.
Any comments from anyone? Do you want to see Moore's documentary that weekend (July 11) and Spiderman the next, or vice-versa?

Hey, we can probably do a Spiderman II movie on the opening weekend. I'm going to put in an order for bulk tickets for first run movies on Monday.

We'll be up north on July 3rd. 
Math Girl Jen is getting married.
We can do first run AMC Theaters movies for $6 now. I'll have the ticket vouchers this week. Let's just pick a date for Spiderman and whoever can go can go.

Yes, I was looking forward to our trip up north for the wedding, so I was wondering how to pack everything in that weekend since we're the organizers of the movie stuff right now. Let's figure out when to go the week of July 5/weekend of July 10-11. I'm glad you bought those passes.
If anyone besides Sheldon has a preference for when we go see Spiderman 2, please speak up! The two of us are organizing this, but we're very flexible in terms of the scheduling. I'd rather set something up knowing that at least a couple people will attend, but I'll do it running blind if need be.

Go ahead and run blind! Just don't carry any scissors when you do.

O.k., no scissors! I promise!!But I am thinking of organizing a Spiderman 2 outing for the evening of Saturday, July 10. We'll miss the worst of the crowds that way (so we can all sit together and not have to line up for hours), but still get to hang out and go to the movies on a Saturday night.
So, add yourself to the RSVP list! I'm going to post it right now so folks know what to look forward to.
