Argentine Tango Workshop (public event)

An introductory workshop on Argentine Tango with Keith Minton will be offered at the Willows Senior Center on Saturday June 28; 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. Cost: $23

Tango, the dance from Argentina, is danced by people around the world. This workshop will give you a chance to try out tango for yourself. Come and let the rest of the world disappear, as you get lost in this dance called tango.

This class will cover the fundamentals of Argentine Tango. You will learn a basic step and a simple figure. The focus will be on leading, following and getting you to move with your partner.. Wear smooth-soled shoes (non-grip) and come prepared to have fun. Singles and couples welcome.

Keith Minton has been dancing since 1991 and began teaching tango in 1996. He has studied with many of the masters from Argentina and the United States. His travels have taken him to dance clubs in Buenos Aires as well as across the United States.

Space is limited so early registration is recommended.
