OVC presents Celia Farran & Loren Davidson (public event)

Orchard Valley Coffee in Downtown Campbell presents an evening of song with Celia Farran and Loren Davidson.

Singer/songwriter and storyteller Celia Farran is a cross between Enya, Tori Amos, and Gilda Radner. Dishing up the most delicious concoction of the silly and the sacred, she is an amazingly multi-faceted artist, presenting everything from powerful heart-felt vocals to wacky comedic improvisations. Her CD, Irish Tales, received a nomination for “Best Storytelling CD” by the International Just Plain Folks Awards.

Guitarist, singer/songwriter, and "escape artist," Loren Davidson and his music encourage people to escape from whatever is bringing stress and distress to their lives - jobs, traffic, rude people and frightening headlines - by sharing visions of life as it could be, sitting on a warm beach with a cold drink, even if only in their imagination. Inspired by the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Lord Buckley, and Steeleye Span, he creates songs that are both story and celebration.
