Orchard Valley Coffee presents Phillip Flathead (public event)

Orchard Valley Coffee in Downtown Campbell presents an evening of music with Sacramento singer/songwriter Phillip Flathead.

The recipe for this music? In a large glass bowl, mix Neil Young, Van Morrison, Tom Waits and Paul Simon. Toss in a hint of Woody Guthrie meets The Velvet Underground. Simmer 20 years, and you get Phillip Flathead. Best served on early mornings and late nights.

Christian Keifer of Sacramento News and Review writes that Phillip Flathead is: "a musician who can only be called the Thelonious Monk of local acoustic and folk music."
