Meet Artist Amy Brown at Monsieur Beans (public event)

Meet Monsieur Beans' featured artist for the month of August, Amy Brown! On the afternoon of August 2, Amy will be at the cafe, available to speak with people about her work and selling her tote bags, cards, prints, and giclees.

Amy Brown was born and grew up in Willow Glen. In 1991 she took a leap of faith and moved to the Caribbean. "I had been visiting this fishing village for several years, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye. Belize made me become an artist," she writes. Amy taught herslf how to paint and sculpt from her studio and apartment on the beach. Her work reflects the beauty of the underwater world, the beach, the rain forest, and the garden.

Amy's paintings will be on display at Monsieur Beans throughout the month of August.
