Willow Glen Books -- Poetry Reading by Sally Ashton (public event)

Willow Glen Books is pleased to present a reading by Sally Ashton, followed by an open mic reading. All are welcome to bring a poem of their own or by a favorite poet to share.

Sally Ashton is a Bay Area poet, teacher, and editor for the DMQ Review, an online journal featuring poetry and art. A chapbook of her work, These Metallic Days, was released in January 2005 by Main Street Rag and her poetry and reviews have recently appeared in Mississippi Review, Dos Passos Review, Another Chicago Magazine and Sentence: a journal of prose poetics.

Sally earned her MFA from Bennington Writing Seminars and was the recipient of a 2004 Artist Fellowship in Poetry from Arts Council Silicon Valley.
