The Metro Releases Best of Silicon Valley 2008

See what the readers of the Metro magazine cited as their favorite places to eat out. There are a few of my own favorites in here and some head scratching winners. Ah, take a look and let's hear what you agree or disagree with in their list of winners.

Best French - 3rd place Twist Bistro
Best Italian - 3rd place A'Bellagio
Best Middle Eastern - 2nd place Yas Restaurant
Best Thai - 1st place Krung Thai
Best Breakfast - 1st place Stacks
Best BBQ - 2nd place Andy's BBQ (should have been #1, Sam's sucks!)
Best Coffehouse - Barefoot, Los Gatos Roasting, Orchard Valley Coffee all rank highly with me!

Are you Kidding Me?
Sushi Boat Kazoo as 1st place for Best Sushi?!?! Not bad for McSushi, but come on!

Falafel Drive-in as the #1 best Middle Eastern and #2 best Mediterranean. This place is way way way overrated. Casablanca's Cafe in Willow Glen is far superior.

Sam's BBQ (see above)

Yiassoo - Not a bad eat, but NOT #1 material.

Santana Row - Yawn, is that really the best place to be seen or does everyone just think that's what you're supposed to say to be cool?
