Rough Outline of Sundown Cinema Job Duties

Here's a rough outline of volunteer duties at Sundown Cinema on Friday nights this summer. I promise we'll train you on site, and things will probably change as we figure out the Friday night drill, but this will give you an idea of what each job will be like.

Set-Up (2 people)
Arrive 6pm
Set up tables, A/V tent, concessions stand, put up posters, etc.

A/V Primary (1 person)
Arrive 6pm
The main person responsible for all the A/V equipment set-up, run, and take-down. This will be either Jim or Sheldon.

A/V Assistant (1 person)
Arrive 6pm
The assistant to the A/V Primary for set up, run, and take down, with other duties as needed.

Greeter (1 person)
Arrive 7pm
Sit at info booth, welcoming people and answering questions; monitor donations jar (at info booth) before and during film; collect donations at end of movie at main exit point.

Concessions (2 people)
Arrive 7pm
Make popcorn, sell popcorn and canned drinks, pack up concessions stand at end of evening.

Take-Down (2 people)
Arrive before end of film
Put away tables, concessions stand, posters, A/V tent, pick up trash in parking lot.
