Where Can You Go for a Good Falafel?

Ok, all this chatter about the Red Sox is making me hungry... for a Falafel. See, there were plenty of places to get a nice good Falafel in Boston, but that's certainly not the reality here.

There's an international market with Middle Eastern foods in Downtown Saratoga that sells 'em in their Deli and there's a new deli in Willow Glen that has Falafels, but neither one quite hit the spot. Anyone have better luck?

There is a place right on San Carlos Avenue between Bascom and 880...don't even remember the name...it's on the northside on the street. Little hole in the wall place with the best Falafel I've found in the area. Wish I knew the name. They've been there for years.

Hope that helps.

Falafel Drive-In (2301 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose) is my favorite.

Falafel Drive-In is the local favorite (for good reason...). It's just east of valley fair (on the other side of the freeway).

the place next to Mission Ale on Santa Clara in downtown San Jose is also good. It's at the corner on Second St (? I think). Really good chicken sandwiches.
