For everyone who came on our annual Winter Wonderland Bus Tour and want to route so they could take their friends and family on the same tour to enjoy the lights and festivities that we enjoyed last night, here are some versions of the tour you can try. I have the standard tour and extended tours that include displays and stops that we could not fit into the tour due to time.

Campbell, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara
Standard Version of the Campbell and Sunnyvale 2009 Lights Tour
Extended Version of the Campbell, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara 2009 Lights Tour
The extended version continues past the Severns-Pease display in Sunnyvale and goes by three more landmark displays in Santa Clara.

Willow Glen and Campbell
The Standard Tour Plus a Couple of Extras

A lot of the places we toured on the 2009 Winter Wonderland Tour are shown in these albums:
2009 Christmas and Holiday Lights Tour
2007 Holiday and Christmas Lights in SF Bay Area

If you really want to go all out, you can get more info on some serious displays on the Lights of the Valley website.

Finally, if you enjoyed this, sign-up for the Social Wave Newsletter and you might be the first to know of other interesting events that we're planning.

By the way, a lot of people have been asking about the hot chocolate served on the tour. It was Land O' Lakes Mint Flavored hot chocolate available from Nob Hill and PW Market grocery stores. I also threw in some strong candy canes to give it a little a little bit of extra peppermint kick, but you have to find strong candy canes or starlite mints or all you're doing is adding more sugar to it which doesn't really add to the flavor. Of course you can also just dash in some peppermint oil too, but the peppermint candies worked well in the past so I stick to it.
