Downtown Campbell Needs Volunteers Wednesday, Feb. 10

The Downtown Campbell Business Association (DCBA) is in need of some last-minute volunteers for its inaugural WineWalk wine tasting event this coming Wednesday, February 10, 2010.

The DCBA is looking for people to serve at the registration table 5pm-8pm, and people to serve as "ambassadors" along the street 6pm-9pm.

People serving at the registration table will sell tickets, check IDs, and hand out wristbands, maps, and wine glasses. People serving as ambassadors will be out on the avenue directing people, answering questions, and making sure that nobody leaves an establishment with alcohol (all alcohol must be consumed inside the stores).

Those serving at registration will be dismissed at 8pm and allowed to join the wine tasting until 9pm free of charge. Those serving as ambassadors will each be given a free bottle of wine.
