Hula's Island Grill is excited to serve the Akua Burger! Made by Akua from ocean-farmed kelp, this delight is 100% vegan. Come and try one today at 622 Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey. We're open Mon-Tue, 4pm-9pm, and Wed-Sun, 12pm-9pm, for curbside pick-up and outdoor dining.

Kelp farming is a zero-input crop that requires no fresh water, no fertilizer, no feed, and no arid land to grow. Kelp also filters carbon and nitrogen from the water. Akua sources their seagreens from a network of regenerative ocean farms along the Northeast coast of the US.
