We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities that you can register for. Let us know the kind of events you want to help with and what type of things you're able to do and we'll contact you when the right volunteering opportunity arises.

Venture Gallery presents the work of Gordon Mayfield, our featured artist for March. His exhibit, entitled Into the Heart of Big Sur, captures a trek into the heart of the wilderness.

Many artists try to capture the wild essence, the soul of Big Sur. But you can only succeed at that when you have immersed yourself in the essence of Big Sur and trekked for miles into its heart. Gordon's paintings in this show are inspired by hiking below rock faces, in redwood canyons, and on cliffs edging the sea.

Venture Gallery is now open six days a week, 10am-6pm (closed on Tuesday). Gordon Mayfield's artwork will be featured through March 2023. Venture Gallery is located at 260 Alvarado Street in Downtown Old Monterey. Visit our website to shop online for work by our local artists.
