Spooky SZN is behind us, but we have plenty of really great photos of all the fun we had in Downtown Campbell throughout the weekend of Halloween. Our first official Halloween events in over 2 years were well attended and the kind of spectacle that you expect to see when you come to Downtown Campbell for a big celebration.

Because of the Monterey Bay Half Marathon on Sunday, November 13, there will be a number of parking restrictions, 2am-11am, and road closures, 3am-11am, in Downtown Old Monterey and in the New Monterey and Cannery Row areas.

The entire Half Marathon course will be posted, "No Parking - Tow Away 2am-11am on Sunday, November 13, 2022." Other parking restrictions will also be in effect in the Downtown and Cannery Row areas. All "No Parking" areas will be posted a minimum of 48 hours in advance. All vehicles left standing in a "No Parking" zone will be towed at the owner's expense.

Tickets Now on Sale for Christmas in the Adobes 2022

Tickets are now on sale for Monterey's signature holiday event, Christmas in the Adobes, on December 9 & 10. Stroll the streets of Monterey and tour any one of the many beautifully decorated adobes with soft holiday lights and entertainment.

Tickets are $25 per night for adults and free for children and youth ages 17 and under. A 2-night Gold Pass is available for $40. Tickets may be purchased online or in person - visit the website for details. Proceeds benefit Monterey State Historic Park children's educational and school history programs.

Blues Zones Project Monterey County has a job opening for the role of Engagement Lead. The Engagement Lead is responsible for the execution of the local event and marketing plans in Blue Zones Project Monterey County - Peninsula Cities project through a wide range of marketing strategies. This role works with the local community to maximize participation and engagement of individuals and organizations with Blue Zones Project while representing stakeholder brands in a positive light.

This person will coordinate the delivery of collateral and promotional activities (on- line/off-line) to drive program participation through an engagement strategy developed by the Blue Zones Project Monterey County team. Venture Gallery presents the work of Cheryl Kampe, our featured artist for November. Her exhibit, entitled Tapestries, digs deep into her family's heritage as weavers from Chimayo, New Mexico. They worked in wool, while she renders beauty from oil paint and cold wax.

Venture Gallery invites you to meet the artist in person on Saturday, November 5, 2pm-6pm.

Ballot Drop Box at Monterey Public Library

The U.S. midterm election is November 8, 2022, and it's time to vote! The local ballot will include candidates for City Council for Districts 1 and 2 and for Mayor.

A permanent Monterey County Elections ballot drop box for voters is installed at Monterey Public Library, available 24 hours a day until 8pm on November 8. The County will empty it on a regular basis. Just drop your ballot safely in the box at 625 Pacific Street.
