Back in 2007, Drive-By Truckers did a series of shows called The Dirt Underneath. It was conceived as an acoustic tour that soon morphed into more of a halfway acoustic tour. Drive-By Truckers re-arranged and reinvented songs, pulled out songs that usually don't get played, added more banter and story-telling, and worked on new material with the audience in tow. The tour was a great success and a lot of fun and although they talked of doing it again, it was never the right time or situation…until now.

Drive-By Truckers' Dirt Underneath Tour will include songs from their latest album, English Oceans, toy with some old favorites in a different way, and maybe even work up some new tunes. Audiences will feel like they’re receiving their own personal house show right in their own living rooms by providing a more intimate performance for old and new fans alike.
