Throughout my 22 years of teaching, I worked with many students of all ages (and language groups) who struggled with reading or writing or math. These challenges were not the cause of poor teaching, lack of materials, or absence. The issues related to how the brain takes in and remembers shapes or sounds or information.

The brain is an amazing machine! No two are alike. Each person has special ways of using the senses to learn. I have practiced techniques myself to improve my memory, my reading ability, or to learn another language.

Using a scientifically researched systematic approach and a variety of activities each session, clients can make significant progress and gain confidence. As we understand how we learn, we are better able to use our strengths and develop our weaknesses consciously.

Adults and children both benefit from understanding their brains. At school and in the workplace, brain science can help you be more confident, more successful, more organized. My individualized programs are structured around the specific learner. Clients will see a great improvement in phonics, reading fluency, accuracy, vocabulary development, decoding, writing, encoding, paragraph and composition writing, math, sequencing, understanding directions, and coordination.

Because traditional school systems cannot address all learning needs, I have opened my clinic to support and treat people of all ages who struggle with school or work demands.
