Hicklebee's Books in Downtown Willow Glen is pleased to present a magnificent duo of sisters, author Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman and illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser, who will be introducing us to their latest books, Superhero Joe and Fancy Nancy: Stellar Stargazer.

In her former life, Robin Preiss Glasser was a professional ballet dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet. A back injury forced her retirement at age 30 and she attended Parson School of Design in New York for illustration. Robin is the New York Times bestselling illustrator of the Fancy Nancy series, written by Jane O'Connor; A is for Abigail, by Lynne Cheney; and Tea for Ruby by Sarah Ferguson.

Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman graduated from Vassar College, where she majored in art history. She also received a degree from Parsons School of Design and worked professionally an as interior designer. She is the author of You Can't Take a Balloon into the Metropolitan Museum.
