Internationally acclaimed, Carolina and her daughter Carolé show combines the pulsating
sounds of footwork, song, castanets, syncopated hand clapping and guitar that paints a visual canvas in movement through dance embodied with an attitude. The relationship among these rhythmic essentials is riveting "It is when Lugo and her daughter Carolé dance together that the women unearth a new dimension in dance, prompting a dialogue with the audience about beauty, life cycles, love and death." - Anne Murphy, Oakland Tribune
