On Saturday, a team of youth, young adults, and adult chaperones from Willow Glen will embark on a 12-mile walk-a-thon through Death Valley to raise funds to provide clean water to communities in Africa.

Their walk begins at Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the western hemisphere and one of the hottest places on earth.
