The trick-or-treat tradition continues thanks to community interest and the generosity of the businesses in Downtown Willow Glen! Please let our businesses know that you are glad that the event is being held – they’d love to hear from you!

The Trick or Treat event will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 on Lincoln Avenue between Minnesota and Willow. Books For Treats will be located in front of the Garden Theater (1165 Lincoln Ave).

PLEASE NOTE NEW TIMES AND SESSIONS:

11am-12:30pm:
Session #1: Toddlers, Preschoolers, & Kids in Strollers:

3pm-4:30pm:
Session #2: School-Aged Kids in Costume

Some business may choose to have their treats handed out at several Treat Stops along the Avenue. Other businesses may decide to donate to Books for Treats instead of handing out candy at their store. You can tell which businesses are participating and where to find their treats by checking the trick-or-treat pumpkin sign in their window.

For the safety of children, please use crosswalks and stay on the sidewalks. We will have volunteers to help guide children and parents across the street, holding up special pumpkin-shaped stop signs made by WGBA Associate Member, The Wood Connection (NARI member).

Please note that you can start anywhere along the street, but we ask that you follow the pattern set up for foot traffic.
