The Woodshed: Sherry Austin with Henhouse
The Woodshed at Keith Holland Guitars in Los Gatos presents a performance by Sherry Austin & Henhouse. Tickets are $18 in advance, $22 at the door. To purchase tickets online, please click here.
Henhouse has found that magical combination in music that's often wished for, but rarely found. Whether singing their own material or the songs of Kate Wolf and others, these four great vocalists come together to form an exquisite blend of harmonies. With Sherry Austin and Sharon Allen on guitar, Tracy Parker on bass, and Santa Cruz legend Patti Maxine on steel guitar, their music truly engages listeners with their warm and captivating spirit.
Their music covers the range from sweet love songs to gritty, rockin' songs about cars, trains, and love gone wrong. They sing with authority and passion, their distinctive blend of folk, country and rock, is filled with warmth and conviction.
