Delicious home grown tomatoes are America’s favorite summer vegetable. Join Guadalupe River Park Conservancy and Gardening Instructor Sherri Bohan for this informative class to find out easy and earth friendly methods to growing delicious fresh vine ripe tomatoes. The workshop will cover the best planting techniques, correct soil and nutrient needs for our zone, tomato varieties and types, diseases and prevention, pests and how to protect your harvests, watering, and much more. All tomato lovers will enjoy this class!
Sherri Bohan is a local professional gardener with degrees in Ornamental Horticulture and Natural Resources, in addition to 16 years teaching gardening classes with a state teaching credential.
