Kick off Halloween Week in New Monterey! On Saturday, October 24, Lighthouse District shops, restaurants, and boutiques will be open and welcoming little goblins with special treats, 2pm-5pm, rain or shine. So dress up the kids, get in the spirit, and come on down with your family to enjoy a fun and safe time in the community.

All businesses handing out candy will be located on Lighthouse Avenue in New Monterey between Reeside and David and will have a Lighthouse Halloween poster displayed in the window.

Come celebrate Rosebuds Kids Co.'s first birthday on Sunday, August 23, 11am-4pm! We’ll have sales, a raffle, giveaways, treats, and plenty of fun for the whole family.

It's been one year of secondhand finds, tiny shoppers, new friends, and community, and we're so grateful for every single person who has been a part of it.

In honor of Halloween, the City of Monterey presents a free Trunk-or-Treat and Movie in the Park on the lawn of Colton Hall.

The walk-through trunk-or-treat will be held 5pm-6:30pm. Our feature film, Scooby-Doo (2002), will begin at 6:30pm. Come dressed in costume! There will be food trucks, fire engines, kids' activities, and more.

It's only July and Rosebuds Kids Co. already has 8 bins of Christmas stuff in the back room. So we're celebrating Christmas in July on Saturday, July 25, 10am-4pm!

We'll have live music by Tatt's Musical Tales (10am-11am), photos with Santa (12pm-2pm), Christmas cookies by Tiffany's Sweet Life , special sales, and holiday cheer.

Join the Monterey Public Library Bookmobile for a special children's storytime on Colton Hall Lawn followed by a magical bubble performance by Miss Molly Bubbles on Friday, July 10, 11am-12pm. Free!

All are welcome to the Annual Turkish Arts and Culture Festival for a weekend of free family fun, August 29, 11am-7pm, and August 30, 11am-6pm, at Custom House Plaza.

We'll have live music and folk dancing performances, Turkish food and drinks, and special activities for children. It's a great celebration of food, arts, and culture for all ages. Learn more.
