The City of Monterey's Big 4th of July Celebration and Backyard Food Fest will be held on the historic grounds of Colton Hall, 10:45am-5pm. Featuring live music and food for sale, this is a free event!

All are members of the New Monterey Business Association which supports the many small, locally-owned businesses along Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey.

Monterey Public Library presents Oakland children's musician Mr. Elephant on Wednesday, June 26, 1pm-2pm in the Community Room. This event is free but registration is required .

Mr. Elephant sings original, family-friendly songs in styles ranging from rock to reggae, from beats to bossa nova. They're educational, diverse and - most of all - FUN!
