Johnny Wicks is a candle-making studio and retail candle shop offering premium candles handcrafted in Monterey. Appointments for candle-making sessions can be scheduled everyday 11am-8pm, except Tuesday.
We welcome individuals and groups for in-store candle-making. We aim to offer a socially interactive experience that fosters togetherness and creativity through the captivating world of scents. We're happy to travel to you for large groups or parties.
Selecting scents, picking the perfect jar, designing a personalized label, and crafting your custom-scented candle will take around 30-45 minutes. Afterwards, you'll have an hour and a half to spare as your candle solidifies, leaving you with ample time to explore charming Downtown Old Monterey.
Our candles are made from premium ingredients: all natural soy wax, 100% cotton wicks, and fragrance oils free of phthalates, carcinogens, and hazardous chemicals. Our candles burn cleanly, filling your space with a captivating aroma.
