The Senior Scam Stopper Workshop, sponsored by California State Senator Jim Beall, educates and empowers seniors against scams that target older people. Speakers from many local, state, and federal agencies will discuss topics including identity theft, auto repair, and investments. Topics will also include a discussion of construction-related scams and how seniors can protect themselves when hiring a contractor. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors!
