  • Help Cooper-Molera Adobe Replace the Roof

    Let's raise the roof! The National Trust for Historic Preservation is conducting a significant restoration project at Cooper-Molera Adobe, and it's now doing additional fundraising to replace the Cooper Adobe and Diaz Adobe roofs. We, the public, can help!

  • Restoration Project at Cooper-Molera Adobe 2025

    Monterey, CA

    The National Trust for Historic Preservation has begun a significant restoration project at Cooper-Molera Adobe at 506 Munras Avenue. Work is focused on preserving the site's historic structures and ensuring their longevity.

    The museum, gardens, Alta Bakery & Cafe, and Cella Restaurant will remain open throughout the process. The second floor of the museum will be closed to protect and store the Cooper-Molera Adobe collection and archival materials. The project is expected to end by June 30. Learn more.

    Join Tai Chi for Beginners on Mondays, April 14 - August 4 at 10am with Liana Olson, Senior Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Held at Cooper-Molera Adobe, either indoors or outdoor gardens, weather-permitting.
